SPARK Rules

Be Respectful.

Be Responsible.

Be a Good Citizen.

Be Green.

Behavior Plan

Students will earn points for their class per day as students demonstrate following the school rules, the class with the most points at the end of the quarter will be rewarded.  The class will have to work collectively as a team to earn class rewards. At any point during the quarter the teacher can reward individual students as she sees fit, however the emphasis on teamwork will be the priority.

Student’s Role

-Follow the school-wide rules and classroom norms and procedures.

-Make good choices when faced with decisions. The students will have the opportunity to practice decision making skills throughout the curriculum, specifically in Social Studies.

Consequences/Reflection

- The class will brainstorm collectively to make a general list of rewards and consequences.

- Consequences will match the behaviors. Example: If a student continuously argues with students while working together, then the consequence may be that they are asked to have some quiet time to work independently.

It is my expectation that the students with my support will maintain a positive classroom environment for everybody involved. I intend to have open communication with my students and parents.
